Despite his tender age, the young singer, guitarist and songwriter has participated in several music projects and recorded two albums. An eponymous one with the band VulgoQinho&OsCaras, and the acclaimed solo album “Candor,” released on the Bolacha Discos label.

In 2008 and 2009, Qinho organized Street Day with Freddy Ribeiro, a cultural event that took free shows of more than 30 artists to the streets of Ipanema and Leblon. The musician also performs in groupings with Cia Velha (alongside musicians from the band The Others, poet and singer Pedro Rocha, and singer Amora Pêra), and Irmãos Brutos, which has already yielded a digital EP.

Last year he launched BléQinho, which shows off his more hip side. In this release, the concept is the combining of “standard” songs with the rich repertoire of Brazilian Black Music. The singer has shared the stage with great names of MPB (Brazilian popular music), such as Jards Macalé, Hyldon e Luiz Melodia. He is currently in the studio recording a new solo album, which will feature cameos from Elba Ramalho, Amora Pêra e Mart’nália.
