The first Circus Stage party at Back2Black 2011 will be led by DJ’s Pathy DeJesus and Nepal. The set will be premiered and prepared together by the duo. Nobody will be standing still.

Pathy DeJesus is a DJ and an actress. Her resumé contains participation in shows with the likes of Marcelo D2, Black Li, Busta Rhymes, Mos Def and Femi Kuti, just to name a few. In Brazil, she has played at the most important parties in the Rio-São Paulo circuit. Outside the country, she took her sound to Sutra, Trump Soho and Buddha Bar, all trendy clubs in New York. Her sets are often a stroll through hip hop, samba and MPB.

Nepal hit the Rio music scene 15 years ago. His music stands out because of its eclectic sound that spans genres such as Funk, Soul, Rap and Disco Music. In 2000, he founded the Apavoramento (“Terrified”) Sound System, a combination of DJ’s and visual arts. Currently, the group is also into video production and has a digital design office as well.
